If you’ve ever looked like you were coping on the outside while internally feeling anxious, overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted, I understand how heavy that can feel.
I’m a qualified Hypnotherapist and Counsellor working with adults struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, CPTSD, PTSD, overthinking and emotional overwhelm. I use hypnotherapy alongside counselling skills and trauma-informed support to help clients feel calmer, safer and more emotionally regulated.
For a long time, I thought I was managing stress well. I worked, parented and carried on as normal while silently struggling underneath it all. Following a particularly difficult period in my life, I experienced severe anxiety and panic attacks which eventually led me to seek support through hypnotherapy myself.
What I came to understand is that many coping behaviours — including emotional eating — are often connected to unprocessed emotions, chronic stress and nervous system overwhelm. Once we begin working with the root emotional patterns, behaviours can start to change in a much more natural way.
Today, I work online with clients across the UK. Some clients come to me after years of trauma and emotional struggle, while others feel completely thrown by a singular event or difficult life experience they never expected to affect them so deeply.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing people begin to feel emotionally lighter, calmer and more in control of themselves again.
