Sixteen years ago, I chose to walk away from a life overshadowed by fear and uncertainty. I redefined my relationships and rebuilt my life while balancing a full-time job as a single mother. I often felt like there was no off switch to the anxiety I struggled with, and daily stress became a pressing necessity, yet relaxation remained a luxury.
