Hi, I’m Claire,
Trying to deal with emotional weight while attempting to lose those unwanted pounds was a frustration that motivated me to find out why I was in a loop of self sabotaging. You may know me from my podcast Slimming Stories Around World, my first attempt at trying to understand the triggers of overeating by interviewing people who had successfully lost weight.
I understood that for many people there had been a light bulb moment that motivated others to take action.
But what if you really wanted to lose weight without having had some grand epiphany?
I felt far away from my light bulb moment and with all of the support from friends, family & weight loss consultants I just couldn't lose weight consistently.
I knew I was self sabotaging my efforts to lose weight.
I knew I was feeding an emotion and knew exactly what I needed to do to lose weight but my cravings were huge - they felt out of control and bigger than me for sure!
What if I had to accept that my cravings would always override my good intentions?
I decided to delve deeper into how the mind works discovering a greater understanding of hypnosis and I’m excited to share this with you.

Introducing journaling to offer an insight into what you truly believe about yourself.
This module will start your daily journaling practice, because as life unfolds and challenges come your way, dealing with life events and having a way to express yourself will be a game changer to eating through those difficult emotions.Â
I want you to pay attention to your negative self talk around weight loss and what this means to you about yourself. What story have you been telling yourself on repeat?
I want you to chose something that stands out as your biggest pain point and print out the C.B.T pdf.
Self awareness is half the battle in reaching for the food you crave because you're now able to recognise those times that are still triggering and pay attention.
So what lies beneath the stones you have unearthed and what story have you told yourself about this life event? What have you made this moment in your timeline mean about you?
In this module I want you to challenge the stories you have told yourself, to start the practice of truly loving yourself as you are but first you will shed the stories that are outdated timestamps of your past so that you can move forward.
Mirror mirror on the wall…..when you sit with your thoughts and look at your reflection what do you see? How is self love going? This is your opportunity to hold back nothing? This may feel 10000% uncomfortable and its supposed to! But consider this if you have been holding onto negativity for so long that must have felt uncomfortable too.
